3. How the Service Works

MaskContext uses AI models that are downloaded to and run entirely within your web browser:

AI models are loaded once and cached in your browser
Text processing happens on your device using WebAssembly
No text is transmitted to our servers or any third party
The service works even when you're offline

4. Technical Data

Our web hosting provider may collect basic technical data for security and performance purposes, such as:

IP address (anonymized)
Browser type
Access timestamps

This data is used solely for security monitoring and is not linked to any personal information or your usage of the anonymization features.

5. Third-Party Services

MaskContext loads AI models from Hugging Face's content delivery network. This is a one-time download that is cached in your browser. The models themselves do not transmit any of your text content.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a resident of the European Union, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). However, since we don't collect personal data, most of these rights don't apply in practice:
